Yup.. Bone Broth pancakes. They are called "bone broth", because I use Dr. Axe's bone broth protein powder to make them. I am not going to lie, I consume these babies at least 6 days a week. It's what I look forward to after my morning workouts. The nice thing about these is that you can make about 24 ahead of time and store them in the freezer! I would also recommend using one of these giant George Foreman griddles so you can make a bunch at once! (Another option is you can bake these at 400*F for 15-20 minutes- no flipping necessary.)
Here is the recipe for a serving size of 1! (I will multiple this recipe 3 times when I meal prep for the week :) )
Ingredients
1 scoop of Dr. Axe Bone Meal (chocolate, vanilla, or unflavored)
1/4 avocado
3 TBS Unsweetened Almond Milk
3 TBS Stevia or Swerve or Monk Fruit
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Pink Hamailian Salt
Instructions
Pre-heat griddle to 400*F and spray with coconut oil. Throw everything in a blender or food processor until smooth. You can adjust thickness of pancakes by increasing or decreasing the almond milk. Pour 1/4 cup sized circles onto griddle, once bubbling, flip pancake. Usually takes about three minutes per side. Top off with a dollop of coconut whip cream and Keto-friendly syrup!
